    Week #
    1. May 11 - Welcome to class
      1. Visit and read BlackBoard's Assignments. Complete by 11:59 PM, Sunday, May 16 everything described in First Assignments.
      2. Also, read BlackBoard's Instructor, Syllabus & Policies, and Couse Materials.
      3. Read the Syllabus. Read it again. Ask questions.
      4. agree to HTML myself
      5. Reply to Welcome eMail (or tell George you didn't receive any eMail).
      6. Visit BlackBoard's Discussion Board -- participate!!!
      7. Visit this web page, CPST WebServer. This describes how you locate the WebServer you will use this semester to contain all the WebSites you develop. Once you know the URL for your HomePage on CPST Server, paste the URL in an eMail to your instructor (gnorth@tulane.edu). Sending URLs in eMail is how you will turn-in all assignments. The URL you send will look something like this: http://cpst.tulane.edu/~yname/index.html. If you have problems, or your URL doesn't work, send eMail anyway with an explanation of what happened.
      8. Before all else, each week, read the Tutorial in the textbook.
      9. Read the Tutorial again.
      10. Every Tutorial includes example HTML that you will use to complete Assignments.
      11. If you write example HTML yourself while reading Tutorials, you will be well prepaired to complete the graded Case Problem Assignments.
      12. BlackBoard's Course Materials contains links to "Data Files for Students" -- needed to complete example HTML, and to complete Practice Reviews, and to complete all Case Problems.
      13. At the end of every Tutorial you will find four (4) Case Problems. For your own learning, you will be well served by completing all 4 Case Problems, even though only one will be chosen for a Graded Assignment.
